Thanks for your patch. I have uploaded it with small modifications:
1) I added the Debian bug #689679 to the merge changelog line. This will make
it easier to detect if Debian adopted the patch.
2) I removed the added empty last line in debian/changelog.
3) I removed the cosmetic change in debian/po/it.po.
PS: It would be nice to have the header of the FTBFS fix patch in DEP-3
format.
