I have two new facts to report: first, I have reports that the same or similar problems exist with Ubuntu 11.10, and second I have direct experience that none of these problems exist under a Debian testing installation (which I use at work as my desktop system).
After this discovery, I created a newly installed Debian testing under Virtulabox and now I can use Step at home under Ubuntu. In my opinion, these two new facts suggest a packaging problem in Ubuntu rather than a KDE problem. I have the opportunity to install Step on a remote server running Debian stable, to make a further check. Please let me know if you think this could be useful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to step in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1071895 Title: various gui inconsistencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/step/+bug/1071895/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
