I just tried it.  Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue.  It did
however, make a noticeable difference when I booted up.  With 3.5
(current) I have to boot up before I dock the laptop.  Otherwise, I see
an array of colors after I enter my username and password with it never
being able to successfully log in (at least that I can tell because all
I see is an array of colors).  3.7 eliminated this and it logged in
cleanly while docked.  I uninstalled 3.7, but I am very much looking
forward to when 3.7 is mainstreamed.
