Public bug reported:
The "Lubuntu Netbook" session in Lubuntu allows selecting programs from menu of
icons on desktop with lxlauncher.
Desktop area is divided in 5 tabs: Internet, Work, Learn, Play and Preferences.
Each of those tabs contains autogenerated
icons to launch programs and folders; it is equivalent of start menu with
entries and submenus.
Unfortunately "Work" tab doesn't get populated correctly, and currently is
cluttered so much (2 pages of launchers)
as to almost useless. As seen on attached screenshot there are duplicated apps
(like dvdisaster, gkrellm or gv), command
line apps that shouldn't appear in launcher (like bash, bc, gdb) and tools that
are already present usually with better
icon in other tabs or subtabs (like catfish, i.e. Catfish File Search).
Note that I never got such situation when I was using Lubuntu 12.04.
This bug happened only after upgrade (reinstall).
