There's a solution to this bug. Open a terminal and enter the following
two commands - without comments and fill in your user/login name as
USERNAME:
# Add a folder
sudo mkdir /media/USERNAME
# assign the folder to my user
sudo chown USERNAME.USERNAME /media/USERNAME
