I saw this behaviour in another application as well (will try to remember what it was) and as such I will change the bug package to libdbusmenu as suggested.
Also noticed now that if I launch Geany from the terminal and whenever I open up the submenu of a menu (File for example) containing these invalid items, this error comes up: (geany:15489): LIBDBUSMENU-GTK-CRITICAL **: watch_submenu: assertion `GTK_IS_MENU_SHELL(menu)' failed It doesn't come up if I open up a submenu (for example Help) where all menu items are ok. ** Package changed: geany (Ubuntu) => libdbusmenu (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1076934 Title: Duplicated menu items To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdbusmenu/+bug/1076934/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
