Hello, This looks to me like a conflict between a package you want to install and a package you already have on your computer.
You probably have to remove openjdk-6-jre-headless (sudo apt-get remove openjdk-6-jre-headless), if you want to have the new package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1078791 Title: package default-jre-headless (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk', which is also in package openjdk-6 -jre-headless 6b24-1.11.5-0ubuntu1~10.04.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/java-common/+bug/1078791/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
