Sometimes when I transfer files from the CF-card to my hard disk, I get these 
messages from the Power Manager:
  Powermanager: The battery has been eremovde.
  Powermanager: The battery has been inserted.

I have no idea why this happens.

I have tried watching top while transferring data from CF. The processes that 
are hogging up most CPU cycles are:
/usr/sbin/thinkpad-keys
[kryptd/0]
kio_uiserver [kdeinit]
