this worked for me after i exited dropbox and: "Hey guys, Please uninstall the client by running rm -rf ~/.dropbox-dist or sudo rm -rf /var/lib/dropbox/.dropbox-dist then run dropbox start -i to install the latest version. Cheers, David"
