Using View->... gives the same behaviour. But thanks for the tip anyway, this
was a more
convenient way to do it.
These are the steps I can use to reproduce the problem:
1) Create a new profile: iceape -CreateProfile foo
2) Start iceape with this profile: iceape -P foo
Iceape starts with classic theme. No radiobutton is checked in the
View->Apply theme.
3) Select modern in View->Apply theme.
The dialog to inform me that I need to restart iceape appears.
4) Quit iceape by closing the window (X-button in sawfish frame)
The line 'user_pref("general.skins.selectedSkin", "modern/1.0");' is
written to prefs.js as iceape quits.
5) Start iceape again: iceape -P foo
Iceape starts with modern theme. The user_pref line is still in prefs.js.
"Modern" is checked under
View->Apply theme.
6) Quit iceape by closing the window like before.
The user_pref line is removed from prefs.js as iceape quits.
7) Start ice ape again: iceape -P foo
Iceape now has the classic theme again, and nothing is checked under
View->Apply theme.
Do you want me to attach some files from the profile? Or is there some extra
debugging which can
be turned on?
