Hi all,
am having the same problem. Just one screen, but after switching to a
terminal (e.g. by Ctrl+Alt+F1) and back makes the screen unusable.
Restarting gdm, killing the server with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace does not
help, only reboot does.
There are two versions of the problem: either the screen is
monchromously ubuntu-brown with pulsating intensity or parts of the
screen are still visible while moving fastly over the screen.
The problem persists when setting Driver to "intel" as suggested by
Kaleo. I am using the newest Ubuntu 7.04 with current updates.
