"unattractive desktop" is a question of taste, very personal. (I do not like Gnome3 nor Unity, what I think both "unattractive", and useless when working with shells...) Not an objective reason to oblige Ubuntu users to work with them by default. Please, include this fork into the repos. For the sake of freedom of choices! Thank you
