The warning is irrelevant and occurs in a number of applications that use glib,
you can safely ignore it.
Can you please run the installer again using the --debug option (`ubiquity
--debug` in a terminal window)? Attach /var/log/partman,
/var/log/installer/debug, and /var/log/syslog to this bug report. Also, can
you elaborate on what doesn't work?
