Public bug reported:
When you click on a application icon in the launcher it runs/comes to
foreground, which is the expected behavior.
But when you click again on the icon of an application which is already in
foreground, the natural/expected behavior is for the window to be
hidden/minimized.
This is a better behavior than the current one because you sometimes just want
to peek into another applications window quickly and hide it again. The
proposed behavior makes this quick and easy as you only have to click again to
go back to your previous window, while with the current behavior you have to:
1- find the icon of the previously in foreground app in the launcher.
2- move the mouse pointer to that icon and click it.
which requires attention and distracts you from focusing on your work.
