Can confirm this issue occurs on Ubuntu 12.10 when trying to Sync with
my Galaxy Nexus (stock 4.1.2).
To reproduce:
Start Rhythmbox -> Connect phone -> Right click on Media player in sidebar ->
Select properties
Terminal output:
[~] rhythmbox
Android device detected, assigning default bug flags
(rhythmbox:12603): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_instance_get_private:
assertion `instance != NULL && instance->g_class != NULL' failed
[1] 12603 segmentation fault (core dumped) rhythmbox
