I use wine to run the airline route mapper tool from
http://arm.64hosts.com/ The program has a pull-down menu at the top
with a huge list of airlines from around the world. The list is too
long to fit on-screen on even the biggest screens, I suspect. The issue
is that wine extends the pull-down menu to the top instead of to the
bottom so it's almost completely invisible and thus almost useless. I'm
sure other windows programs could be affected in a similar way.
Wine 1.4-0ubuntu4.1 on precise, the same was true for lucid.
