Public bug reported:

Wondering about backporting to 12.04

relates to kernel commit 81014b9d0b55fb0b48f26cd2a943359750d532db

I believe this is the trace at kernel.org:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commit;h=81014b9d0b55fb0b48f26cd2a943359750d532db

more information: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25732

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/751735

I reverted back to 10.04, but if we rip a live cd of sorts, I can test
to see if it's fixed. On production hardware currently...

Let me know what you need to know about my system. here's the dump of
lspci for the video
