Same issue also: maximum resolution available is 1024x768 and should get 1080. Graphics card is a NVIDIA GT520. I have tried all version of the driver offered in "software sources" with the same results. The default nouveau drivers works at the expected 1080 resolution as do the NVIDIA drivers on 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
