Public bug reported:
To reproduce
1. Execute s2ram
2. Resume machine. Everything is okay...no problems...everything works fine.
3. Now insert a cd into the cd drive. CD will not mount and will not be
accessible. (Have tried automount on and off...same thing happens...any type
of cd..even blank cd)
4 . Now heres the kicker... not immediately, but consistently approximately 60
seconds after inserting the CD, system crashes...becomes unresponsive.. screen
still present but frozen. (It is a true system crash. It is not just that the
keyboard/mouse become unresponsive.)
Only happens after resume from RAM has been executed at least once.
Resume from disk not a problem.
Dual boot system. Does not happen under Windows 2000...(Sorry but I had to
mention it to eliminate the possibility it could be hardware problem.)
Beryl or Metacity..doesn't matter.
