Getting this problem with GTX590 after trying an update from 12.04 and also when trying to boot/reinstall from CD : NVidia driver not installed and xorg for nvidia not present in packets management (but intel, amd, ati are there) To be noticed : My GPUGRID work units all suddenly failed 2 days ago under 12.04 : Some software updates may be the cause.
