** Description changed:

The upgrade from Natty to Oneiric fails if the extras repository is
activated as Natty has been removed from extras.ubuntu.com and APT hits
404 when it tries to update the package information. In consequence
Distribution Upgrader aborts the entire upgrade although the error
doesn't really compromise the upgrade process.

 [Workaround]

 Disable extras repository:
 1) Open Software Sources
 2) Go to 'Other Software' tab
 3) Uncheck both checkboxes for "Independent"

 Then restart the upgrade.
