Public bug reported:

LG X110 netbook.

Every time when I press the ACPI brightness key up/down, the brightness
is changed two steps at time. It turns out that along xfce4-power-
manager, something else (kernel, BIOS?) also reacts to the button press,
thus resulting to this kind of undesired behavior.

I hacked common/xfpm-brightness.c to always have a step of 0 for the
change and, to show a notification despite the brightness level not
being changed. Also killing xfce4-power-manager completely, gets rid of
the problem. Applying either one of these fixes makes the brightness
control work normally, one step at time.

** Affects: xfce4-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
