Hi, I have been able to fix this problem by modifying the vala code to only add the directories when they were not null. The fix itself was simple, but getting it to work was a different story, due to unrelated bugs (not being able to build twice in a row, not being able to generate c files from vala files with the shipped Makefile.in
I'm attaching the smallest diff that fixes the issue for precise.
