Having bluez-alsa installed also slows the startup of metacity down by 20 seconds or so. Uninstalling it, audacity starts in three seconds.
When run in terminal, it always waits about 5 seconds, then displays: ALSA lib audio/pcm_bluetooth.c:1614:(audioservice_expect) BT_GET_CAPABILITIES failed : Input/output error(5) and it does this four times (so it adds up to 20 seconds). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1025578 Title: espeak sound output very slow if bluez-alsa installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/1025578/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
