In the last 2 weeks the none of the upgrade servers have acted properly,
It's like they all dissappeared. My latest upgrades have not been
loading the ubuntu desktop properly.

Title:
  When upgrading to 11.10 from 10.04 my system would not load the ubuntu
  desktop properly, I went ahead and am upgrading to 12.04and am
  expriencing the same problem
