Public bug reported: The cacti supplied with quantal (0.8.8a-3) breaks when trying to talk to current mysql installations (5.5.28-0ubuntu0.12.10.1)
MySQL no longer accepts TYPE= on table definitions. This makes every attempt at creating new tables in cacti fail. The author stated in May 2012: "I plan to make a 0.97b with this bugfix and a few others very soon. MySQL no longer accepts TYPE= on table definitions." This (apparently) hasn't happened, if cacti.net is anything to go by. Meantime it's impossible to setup a new cacti installation. ** Affects: cacti (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1084569 Title: Cacti package - (mysql incompatibility) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cacti/+bug/1084569/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
