Public bug reported:

Please include the im-config and dialog packages in Ubuntu's component
main. From bug 793070 it looks like it has already been done, but the
packages are still published in universe.

im-config is an input method configuration framework. Its predecessor
im-switch has been used up to now, but we are about to replace im-switch
with im-config (bug 1076975).

Both im-config and im-switch are Debian packages and included in
Debian's component main. im-switch is deprecated and no longer
maintained upstream. The author and maintainer of im-config is the same
person, Osamu Aoki, as the author of im-switch. im-config is the better
package today.

dialog, which is also included in Debian's component main, is
recommended by im-config.

I have read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuMainInclusionRequirements, and
haven't found any issues that would prevent the proposed main
inclusions.
