Hi,
I am using Ubuntu Feisty on my Dell XPS M1210 laptop.
The sound is OK, but the microphone (external) does not work : eg. audacity
does not see any signal
Of course I have checked the microphone is not muted, I use latest alsa drivers
(1.0.14), I have tried some snd-hda-intel loading options I found on the web :
model=ref, model=3stack...
Nothing helped.
The chip is sigmatel stac9221 A1
