I found the solution, and test it also in versions 2.6.1-6, and in Ubuntu 12.10 (2.6.1-7). $ sudo gedit /etc/cups/cups-pdf.conf then replace: # GSCall ......... to: (uncomment line & remove '-dAutoRotatePages=/PageByPage' key) GSCall %s -q -dCompatibilityLevel=%s -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile="%s" -dAutoFilterColorImages=false -dColorImageFilter=/FlateEncode -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress -c .setpdfwrite -f %s
