Thanks Emperor Ming, it may be common, but given the distributed nature of the project and the bugreports its not entirely easy to say if it is or not. I have a xubuntu install here that does not have this issue. I would love to find out more about the problem and fix it, but that requires help and logfiles from ones who can reproduce it.
