I cannot enter the characters æ, ø and å in the search field in the
Dash. Thus I can't search for Danishly named files.

Rant:
I honestly can't fathom how Canonical could ship a beta product and call it a
LTS release. This computer was supposded to have been my work computer (a
System76 laptop). Now I waste time on working around, and reporting, grave bugs
in Ubuntu/Unity. Bugs that doesn't seem to get fixed. This is unbelieveable,
and I must admit that I have lost all love of Canonical and Ubuntu because of
this. I feel let down. My only hope for a stable OS now is elementary OS. They
have promised to ship only when they have something that actually works.
