Thanks, that a very good info! So it must be a bug with the video driver then. Reassigning from gstreamer to xserver-xorg-driver-i810 (was only release for Dapper and Breezy I think).
Did that looked like bug #29276? Frankly, it seems very unlikely that XSWAT team will push an update to Dapper to fix this, as they mostly only apply critical bugs to earlier versions. Still, if you do in a terminal: lspci -vvnn > lspci.log and then attached the lspci.log to this bug, I'll confirm the bug and let them decide what to do. In the mean time, this could help others that would find your workaround. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-driver-i810 (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: gstreamer => xserver-xorg-driver-i810 -- Too much red on TV or any video avi/mpeg https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/48367 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
