Problem:
System does not resume from suspend properly. The issue is intermitent. However
most of the time the system will exhibit three problematic symptoms:
1.) System will fail to resume and start x altogether
2.) System will resume with applications in frozen state and unity
unresponsive to mouse-clicks.
3.) System will resume however trackpad will be disabled.
kernel tested: 3.2.0-29-generic #46-Ubuntu
Release: Ubuntu 12.04.1
Can reproduce? Yes
Steps:
1.) Close laptop lid
2.) wait approx 5 minutes
3.) open laptop lid for system to resume.
Expected result:
System is able to suspend state and applications and resume when lid is opened
in a proper and timely fashion.
