Public bug reported:

Could not install Dapper Drake (Desktop LTS 6.06) on Pentium II, 128 MB
due to repeated logical block failures on device /hdc. Switched CD-ROM
drives, same problem. Installed FreeDOS instead - no problem.
Installed SUSE-Linux 10.1, no problem. I think there's something
jacked-up in the CD driver on the Desktop installation ISO CD. Too bad,
this was my first Linux setup, Ubuntu was my choice based on reviews.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
