Hi Christopher,

I cannot remember where i found it, however, the exact archive was

compat-wireless-3.6.2-1.tar.bz2

since that is the name of the unpacked tar kit on my wifes computer,
it seems to work despite minor version variations. Linuxwireless.org ??

I assume that extracting the relevant sources from that kit and
comparing to those on 12.04 LTS would reveal the patches applied
to the realtek driver.

However, I have no idea how the procedure is to update 12.04 LTS.

Regards

Gullik
