Hi Christopher, I cannot remember where i found it, however, the exact archive was compat-wireless-3.6.2-1.tar.bz2 since that is the name of the unpacked tar kit on my wifes computer, it seems to work despite minor version variations. Linuxwireless.org ?? I assume that extracting the relevant sources from that kit and comparing to those on 12.04 LTS would reveal the patches applied to the realtek driver. However, I have no idea how the procedure is to update 12.04 LTS.
