Public bug reported:

If a link is sent that is too long to be displayed in a libnotify popup,
clicking the link in the popup will only direct you to the visible
portion of the link. That is, suppose a colleague sends me the link:

http://www.example.com/really/long/name

This might show in the libnotify popup as:

http://www.example.com/really/lo...

When the link is clicked, "http://www.example.com/really/lo"; (the part
before the ellipsis) is opened in a web browser.

This bug was found in Ubuntu 12.10, running GNOME 3 and pidgin 2.10.6.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
