Public bug reported:
I've upgraded my lubuntu from 11.10 to 12.04 via do-release-upgrade.
During installation it asked to switch DM to lightdm and I agreed. After
reboot it couldn't start several times, but it worked if I switch to
tty1 and run sudo lxdm, so I reconfigured DM preference to lxdm and
removed lightdm, then that annoying error window with lack of info about
error started to appear every boot.
