Bug still present in Ubuntu 12.10,
but i found a way to disable Cando from X
1st : sudo gedit /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
2nd : comment or delete all lines related to touchscreen or tablet like below

MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
