Binary package hint: libxine1

Playback of flash (.flv) videos is very jerky in applications using the
xine engine, such as kaffeine, gxine and democracy player. For instance
a camera zoom takes place in discreet steps of, at a guess, around 300ms
each. This problem does not occur in MPlayer or VLC. Playback in the
Adobe Flash plugin is pretty crappy and jumpy too, but not nearly as bad
as it is in xine.

I am running Feisty on a 2.8GHz P4 with a Radeon 9200SE for graphics.

If you want to see the bug in action then probably any video on YouTube
would do. The one I've done the most testing on is found at
