Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vim-gnome

GVIM complains when the filename is passed on command line as a URL :

$ gvim file:///home/shangouet/.bashrc

Error detected while processing BufReadCmd Auto commands for "file://*":
E37: No write since last change (add ! to override)
Press ENTER or type command to continue

After pressing ENTER, the edit window is empty. We have to type :e to
make gvim reopen the file.

What's annoying is that this is the way nautilus calls gvim, even with the
following line in
~/.local/share/applications/gvim-usercustom.desktop:

Exec=gvim %F

** Affects: vim (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
