Public bug reported:

Seems to be the same as bug #554263.

Gateway T-1625 running a wifi connection on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.

When the webcam is turned on, the wireless device disconnects and seems
to disappear. Looking at the nm-applet, wireless networking doesn't
even appear there after this happens.

Reboot restores the wireless connection.

This makes it impossible to use Google hang-out, as answering an
invitation kills the wireless connection when the webcam turns on.
