Public bug reported:
For example, when I am listening to YouTube music videos in Chrome,
sometimes the sound will play fine, but other times I will hear the
music without the singing, and other times it will be very crackly.
Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Both the sound while listening on the laptop speakers and sound while
listening on headphones are affected.
