Just found out something more: after preventing pulseaudio to start (with autorespawn = no in /etc/pulse/client.conf) I initially had no sound. But after playing in QASmixer (or alsamixer for that matter) I just found out that to have sound, I had to disable the front speaker. Now I hear the output of Rythmbox over the speaker (which are controlled through speaker control in the mixer)
