Public bug reported:

The previous number of Atheros AR 9285 is not correct I flipped it over and
used magnafying glass it is a Atheros AR 5895 maybe that could be the reason it
does not work well wrong unit being used as driver . .
The system calls it a Atheros AR 9285 which is wrong
the driver for the wiFi internet connecter nmbers do not match up . . Is there
a different driver for this one Samsung NP 300E5C
Tried to install madwifi as maybe good driver but kept getting 403 error and
blacklist error . . Is there something wrong with the madwifi driver ?
it was their NEWEST version and just would not install checked all the
black.liist files there but a ath5 is not black listed just the ath9 version !
Using the one version intalled I get maybe 1/4 of the possible wifi
connections that a Netgear WG 111 v 3 WHY ?
Seems this is a problem for a lot of computers lately as I did a search across
the web and got tons of different Laptop computers using same stuff ( haha
using the cheapest things toget by with) . . Oh well
