The workaround is to enter the interface name (for example, br0)
manually. Due to another bug in virt-manager, this is only possible when
running virt-manager locally on the kvm host. If virt-manager connects
to the remote kvm host, the edit box is not accessible and the only way
to select the interface is through the drop-down list, which is empty
(due to the netcf bug). This means that virt-manager must be installed
on the kvm host, together with 100+ packages that it pulls for UI
support.
