I installed this image:
http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/dists/raring/main/installer-armhf/20101020ubuntu200/images/omap/netboot/boot.img-fb.gz
on a pandaboard.
During install of Ubuntu Server Raring I selected "Basic Ubuntu server" and
"Ubuntu-desktop", but after reboot and after logging on to the desktop session
the only thing I got was Raring's default background and nothing else, no
launcher, no icons or status menu.
I carried out the same installation twice and had the same result.
