Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: udev
During normal boot of Gutsy (using kernel 2.6.20-16-lowlatency - also
seen in 2.6.22), the following is displayed:
* Loading hardware drivers...
udevd-event[12543]: udev-rules-apply-format: unknown format variable '$k'
Grepping through /etc/udev gives:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/udev$ grep -r '$k' .
./rules.d/80-programs.rules: RUN+="create_floppy_devices -c -t $attr{cmos}
-m %M -M 0640 -G disk $root/$k"
According to "man udev", I think this should be "%k" or "$kernel",
rather than "$k".
** Affects: udev (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
