I NEVER thought I would say this, but Ubuntu appears to have commandeered my
computer.
Installed Pandolin on an XP-os via wubi.exe (selecting "dualboot") and have yet
to see or contrive a way to see the "boot option menu at startup".
ESC at startup produces an "input not support"(sic) message floating around for
about 30 seconds, then Ubuntu loads as if by magic. I am not displeased at
seeing Ubuntu, but I am alarmed at not being able to choose my OS as advertised.
All XP files are available (on *3* other partitions, for some reason), and the
data files there are viewable as well as transportable into my Ubuntu
directories. Everything appears normal except that I cannot invoke or switch
to Windows.
Help?
