AFAICT, this is the extent of the Ubuntu-specific changes:

In other words, they contribute to bug 969733, are unneeded, and all of
that is fixed in the Debian package. If there are other Ubuntu-specific
changes, please point them out to me (I can't seem to find a specific
diff file of the Ubuntu changes).
