I am running it under Lucid right now. The symptoms are a little different but there are still some issues.
For one, 802.11 does not work, so I had to use 11n_disable=1 to connect at all (this is a known lucid issue). It does seem to work better, but I am getting periodic stalls and also seeing fairly erratic and high ping times to my access point (varies wildly between 1-50ms). I don't see the "failure to flush fifo queues" messages but I am seeing some of these in dmesg: iwlagn 0000:44:00.0: iwl_tx_agg_start on ra = 90:f6:52:20:21:6e tid = 0 These messages coincided with perceived stalls in network traffic. Overall the performance definitely seems more consistent under Lucid but still not perfect. This is unfortunately a bit hard to quantify. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1039205 Title: 8086:4238 iwlwifi lost connections and poor performance with mixed networks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1039205/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
